Urban Nature #1

As I walk through the city, I often find myself drawn to the unnoticed: a wildflower growing between cobblestones, ivy reclaiming a forgotten wall, moss thriving in a corner no one sees. These small signs of life, humble yet persistent, speak to a quiet resilience that unfolds in the cracks of our built environment.

This is the starting point for o photographic project on urban nature.

The aim is not to document grand parks or manicured gardens, but rather to capture the spontaneous, fragile and sometimes defiant presence of nature in unexpected corners of the urban landscape. It’s a story of resistance, coexistence, and beauty—one that plays out silently, just beneath the surface of everyday life.

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be exploring streets, back alleys, abandoned spaces and hidden passages in search of these subtle encounters between concrete and green. I’ll share images, notes, and reflections as the project unfolds—an invitation to look closer, and to see differently.

Stay tuned, and if you’ve ever noticed a tree breaking through asphalt, or a dandelion blooming beside a bus stop—you already know the feeling I’m trying to photograph.
