Blurred Voices: Visions of Paris’ Subway

Sometimes I try to take images from chaos and motion. In a series of photos taken aboard the Paris metro, I aimed to capture a different perspective—one where speed distorts reality, transforming ordinary commuters into abstract, almost surreal figures.

These photos are not sharp portraits but fleeting impressions, where the rapid movement deforms unrecognizable silhouettes of strangers. Faces melt into streaks of color, limbs blur into sweeping lines, and the entire scene becomes a fluid canvas of fleeting energy. The figures—anonymous and unknowable—almost resemble abstract paintings, where the focus is on emotion and movement rather than detail: individual stories blurred into a collective rhythm.
